It's called weeding Alan. They are getting rid of dead wood.
Seriously, I've not had any problems since the first few days after it came back.

Ive had that snag today when I tried using my favourite book mark, I got Error 404 - Page not available. However when I typed in the address it worked and despite my bookmark address being identical to the one I typed the bookmark wouldn't work.
I then deleted the bookmark, typed in the address and made a new bookmark and it worked without any issues. Havent got a clue why, maybe there was some bad cache or cookie data. But the page is there and does work.

In my case I found it working intermittently and I always use the same bookmark that I've used for a few years

That one is a cache issue.
Clear your cache on your laptop. Instructions here: http://www.bnl.gov/itd/webapps/browsercache.asp You can test that by using a different web browser, and if it asks to copy your history and bookmarks over when you install it, click NO. A couple of different browser options for you:- - Google Chrome - Mozilla Firefox Cache though that is definitely. A couple of members have managed to clear their cache and / or use a different browser and it works fine. |
