Plantain - this is long.
https://imgur.com/XrBQAcm Plantain round https://imgur.com/JCguhux I took these photos today. During the heatwave they were a fraction of the size. My torts love it and has proven to be good for the bowels! It is all that fibre. If I feed dandelions I tend to go for the smaller, fresh ones and not give them the tough fibrous bit.

They knew it was a horsfield, they even linked me a caresheet for horsfields telling me to water and mist and keep a hot humid hide 🤷*♂️ I'll try find it.
Thanks for the pics, I found someone myself on the way home, but he didn't touch it, will try chop it up and mix it for tomorrow's feed. Also the pebbles around the water and food bowls is a good idea! Thanks Emma! |

Also my seed mix arrived today, I've already put some in a pot near the window and planted some in the enclosure too, can't wait to start growing my own.

Hope the seeds take well. I usually sow loads outside in the early autumn and after a cold winter they’re a welcome sight in the spring. You know you’re a tort owner when you’re happy to see the right kind of weeds growing.

Growing weeds inside is harder than you think:0) A sheltered sunny spot in the garden works well:0)

Eager to show you guys. Also we've named him Patrick or Pat for short, if it turns out to be female its not so bad to be called Pat. |
