Stolen Tortoises, Reading
I have just read this on another Forum, if anyone hears anything let me know, and I can contact the Policeman involved - copied and pasted:
These are all female, and potentially 100 years old (the current owner has had them for 20 years, she was given them by two elderly sisters who had had them since they were children). They are also large, between 2.5 and 4 kg. They are not chipped, but can be easily identified due to shell conditions, and have been extensively photographed. They have just woken up and started to feed, so are still quite vulnerable after being overwintered. |

Oh god, I hate reading things like this, it makes me so mad, those poor torts had just come out of hibernation, and could possibly suffer if not cared for, I hope they are found and returned, the scumbags

I agree. Makes you afraid to leave them out unsupervised.
Hope they're found

Just awful! I hope they are quickly found and returned to their owners.
