New Hermann Male

Hi all,

I have got a new Hermann male today and would like him identified. I have 3 nice photo's but cannot put them on here, would somebody mind putting then on for me please?
I have no problem sending them by e-mail I just cannot figure out how to put them on here.

I'll have to go on a computer course.

Looks like a Boetgerri to me, He is approx 20-25 years old and has a lovely smooth shell.

His name is William, after the previous owner.

He is a T.h.boettgeri Perry

and a big boy at that

Does he have 4 or 5 claws on the front legs?

He came out of hibernation 2-3 weeks ago, the young man I got him from said it was from his aunt. I don't know it's full history, which is sad, and I didn't like to ask what happened to his aunt.

It seemed like he did'nt really know much about tortoises and wanted him rehomed. He is a little underwieght also, only 875grammes.

He has settled in OK though.
