just wondered if some of you could give me some info on land snails, i'm thinking of getting some and wanted some info
i have a terranium set up with compost, rocks, bark and a water bowl in and its 35cm x 20cm x 20cm which i think is big enough for 2 babies of an inch big, i plan on getting a bigger one once the snails grow
is this ok??
thanks

Holy Slime Trail, Batman! I had no idea giant landsnails were really giant. I'm not sure that anybody on this side of the pond keeps those things. I may get one and start riding it to work.

Thirty years later, and I'm still keeping "creepy" things.

A tank that size will sustain two 1 inch snails but when they get bigger they will need one that measures around 40 x 35 x 43. Good luck with your new snails!

I love having creepy animals like snails. They are one of the easiest exotic pets to keep!!!
