Hi Dan, I had read that torts can carry eggs for a few years, and sperm from different males too (gulp). But if any hatch, I wanted to know the etiquette as to whether to tell the previous owner? I'm not intending to sell them, so no financial gain on my part, but want to do the right thing.

As long as she isn't on loan, than any hatchling you get are your's no matter who's male fertilized the eggs.

Not the best pictures but it gives you an idea the fist one is 14 days old and the second one is about a month old

Have to admit that the photo of the egg with the veins showing, makes me feel a bit queasy....

Glad you like it even though it makes you feel a bit queasy good job it isn't a video showing the baby moving around as that really is something else

Mines definitely chalked more cant wait till I candle on Tuesday to see if it has changed :-/ nail biting indeed - I never thought an egg could be so exciting lol
