I had twin hatchlings a few years ago, one weighing 7grms and the other 5grms. I kept both from other hatchlings, using a largish container, inside the normal enclosure. As I didnt want any other hatchlings hassling these two. I treated them exactly the same as any hatchling, except from keeping them seperately.
The larger one went on to be a normal hatchling, the smaller one lasted three months, then one day I found her dead. Its one of those things of nature. A sad, but good for the future experience.

thanks for sharing sandy, good to hear others experience. I am doing the same except she is in a container on her own with a combined lamp over her in the day and shes going into incubator at night as the house is getting pretty cold x

You could try adding reptoboost or critical care to the bathing water to help give a boost. I do this routinely to all my hatchlings.

She has suddenly become a new tortoise, i received this picture from mum today, apparently she now won't keep still and is eating and drinking lots, i'm very happy
