I THINK IT WOULD!

Bet you are all excited but waiting a little longer while she goes to school will not do any harm!

I didn't mean to come across as endorsing a day off school as being fine. However, during my years in the classroom I knew so many children who had days off for non-sickness reasons - the arrival of new siblings, birthdays, funerals to attend, etc - and provided they had an excellent attendance record ordinarily, one day off really didn't affect their education or results.
So many children have a day off for being 'sick' when really they have family visiting or special reasons for doing so. It's just that many parents don't usually admit to it.

I don't think a day off school will hurt especially if it's primary school, lol

You don't always have to be in the classroom to learn IMO only xxxx

Special day waiting for new tortoises, if I was younger I would have pretended I was sick and wouldn't have concentrated on anything at school lol
