You know what eb - I did a volcano project when I was in either P5 or P6. And believe it or not I still have it! It's up in the loft with some of my other primary projects I managed to hold onto. Makes me feel really old I also have some of my old exercise books! I'll have to get them down and have another look! I've had them for over 25 years!!!

Well done. I was hopeless at things like that, I used to just take 6 of the belt instead of doing them, that's why I am hopeless at the quizes

Were you really strict Linda? We had a really strict maths teacher and I once tried to throw a superball out the window to my mate outside as it was nearly lunchtime and us footballers didn't bother eating during football playing time , anyway I missed the open window, hit the closed one and just as she turned round from wiping the board it hit her right in the face . Anyone who ever had a superball in the 70's will know they were those really hard black solid rubber ones just a bit smaller than a tennis ball and when you bounce them they go really really high.
So she didn't see who did it and the bell had just gone for lunch so I thought an escape was on the cards but no, she wouldn't let anyone leave until someone owned up to it. I kept everyone waiting for about 10 minutes before admitting to it then I got the belt |

I bet you got the belt on a regular basis Alan? It was the cane when I went to school but I never had the pleasure, though my brothers had it plenty, then they done away with it. They should bring it back, might discourage some of todays yob culture. Teachers don't get paid enough for what they have to put up with.
