Hi.
I'm still rubbish at iding weeds and wondered what this is. Did think dead nettle and have some to Eddie who LOVED it but now i'm not sure what it is. Thanks x

Might not be good to eat but it sure looks pretty to me. I am useless at the weed ID and I'm a country lass, shame on me. I will check my books also

I REALLY need to invest in a good book. I'm also in the country and am totally clueless unless it's an oak tree!
It's actually the cricket club pitch behind alan. Never seen anything other than a biker rally there though x

I have seen it many times growing but just can't find it in the book. haven't time to go through these but this looks like an excellent site for our needs http://www.ukwildflowers.com/Web_pag...tish_index.htm it's always best to have as much ID material as possible because plants don't always stay the same and change appearance with growth

Alan you are amazing. It's definately Honesty! 100% sure. Will trawl to see if I can find others who feed it. I hope it is cos Eddie really went mad for it. I dug some up to bring home too
Just bought the Collins complete wild flower guild so fingers crossed I can spend less time in the weed section on here. X

by the way, when you are out and about you will see Aubrieta hanging from lots of people's walls at the moment, you can get them in lots of colours from red to pink to blue to purple. torts love those flowers
