Can you check his shell please?

Hi again. Since Eddie has started eating after his 4 month strike he's gained over 20g which i'm pleased with but think it might be too fast. He's no longer but think he has some new shell growth. Just wanted you all to check it out for me to make sure it's normal and nothing new for me to worry about. It's the black lines between that are bothering me slightly. I thought any new growth would be light in colour so am surprised at how dark it is.

Sorry for the poor quality. I've only got internet on my phone so can't use my camera pic's.

I know!!!

It's great. I'm gonna just try and enjoy him now. He's like a different tort! I put my hand in today and he came running, yes running, over to rub his nose on my finger!!! Very cute.

You can see the new growth best near the nail polish mark. I think it looks ok but i'm a total newbie so just thought i'd ask. Any suggestions on how to safely remove it the nail polish too? Or is it best to let it wear away? X

Thanks clare and anita. I'll try and get some better pic's up of his ickle face. I even got the holy grail of which is the open mouth ready to eat shot!!
