Default * a big thanks to all who helped *

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has helped, advised and supported me over the past few months with Eddie.

He's eating everyday now and usually scoffs the lot! He's put on the lost weight and a couple extra. He's now a massive 43g. I'm sure still under weight (he's 6cm) but we're on the right track. He's not as fussy and eating anything I offer now. Just wish I could get the weeds now! I still have to get him up twice a day, morning - bath, afternoon - food. But he does stay up longer to bask.

So thank you everyone who posted or pmed me. I've had some spanking advice and you've all help make us feel happier and more confident. I'll chill out a bit now and try to enjoy him x

Oh thats brilliant news Becky. Im so glad Eddie is finally settling/eating. As for the getting up it may be he wants to hibernate, some do have a stronger instinct. My two littlest cannot hibernate for health/size reasons but seem to have really strong instincts & want to! With my Ozzie (a massive 51 grams!) As soon as he's had a bath & an hours basking he's straight off to bury himself somewhere till I dig him up to start over again! I think you will see a big change in Eddie once the spring comes.

Thanks Lynn. He's absolutely loving those pellets you sent. Seems to have kicked started him! I don't mind him going back to bed so much. I know it's the wrong time of year for him. I'm just so please he's not going to starve! I'm still very much undecided as to whether i'll plan to hibernate him next year. So at least i've got out of doing it this time! Think i'll just see how he is when it comes. But from his behaviour this year I think he's going to want too. I sooo can't wait to get him outside. He really perked up the couple of days I could earlier this year. All i've asked for from Santa is a coldframe!! But for now i'm just so pleased he's finally settling. Thanks again Lynn. You've helped us both x Hope your new lady is ok and no strikes!

I'm so, so pleased Eddie is on the right track now Becky. Let's hope he carries on the munching and grows up big and strong.
