Holly House in Leeds
Holly House is the closest rep vet to me. Problem is I only one person who's been and they've told me stories which contain words i'm not allowed type. So have any of you used this place for your rep's and tort's?
Even after all your smashing help and advice Ed has not picked up so I'm going to take him in for check up. How much should just the check cost. Y'know, before they try to sell me med's Ed propably doesn't need. Thanks lovely super stars x

It depends on the vets and area. I've not used holly house, but not heard bad feedback. The nearest specialist to me charges £37 for consultation but I'm happy there.

I can't take a poo sample cos he's not pooing. Done one since I got him! Unless he's eating it. Yum. X

Holly house is the closest to me. I have had my spur thigh tort treated there. I cannot compare with other specialist vets but they are not cheap. Having said that I don't think that any specialist vet comes at a low price. They were very mindful of the costs and tried very hard to minimise them and importantly the care of Charlotte was fantastic. I would recommend that you take out an pet insurance, Exotic pets seem to be the best. The trouble with torts is that very few things happen quickly and this includes the healing process and when using a vet it can become expensive by the very nature of a tortoise. stephen

Hi I use these vets often for my torts, there consultation charge is 35 plus vat, one of mine had a emerg op on friday evening and vet bill inc consultation was £210, Sarah Brown there is amazing and really cares for the animals in her care she was supposed to finish work at 6pm on friday but was operating on my tort at 8pm the care they give is second to none!!! and i highly reccommed there services after all you get what you pay for and sarah & stuart know just abut everything about tortoises people travel from all over the county to see them
