Hmm an interesting mix. I used to hate morrissey with a passion. Now i've got two smiths albums on my ipod that make a regular appearance. Stranger how you grow up and change isn't it?
I'm looking up more of the Freelance Whales. Not heard them before but quite like the sound. Thanks for that. I get well giddy finding a 'new to me' band x

FABULOUS thread - only five though! This really is my favourite subject. Loads of good ones above! Here's today's top five for me (will be totally different tomorrow!)
Good old Nick Cave - never lets me down! Red Right Hand http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrxePKps87k The 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster - Love Turns To Hate (brilliant live band) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f90mnD5IXTA The Sleepy Jackson - Good Dancers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjNCSw41QSA Mariachi El Bronx - Cell Mates (another brilliant live band) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1uihI8UOM4 Nine Inch Nails - Wish - I'm not putting the link on for that or I'll get banned! Put more on people - I love to hear new stuff, even if it's old new stuff! Oh and Sleigh Bells - good call! |
