I will definitely post photos when I finally get my new babies home. We're hoping to exchange contracts at the end of the week, fingers crossed!

So why should I choose horsfields? Come on, convince me!!

I need friendly, good with children, happy in a tortoise table, happy outside on warm days (assuming we get some next year!), easy to look after, gorgeous tortoises... do they fit the bill?!

Ha ha ha !!!!!!

As you can see we love our torts!!!!! i can only speak of Horsfields as these are the only flavour I've ever had.

Both mine are very different in character, both soooooooo funny and up to something they shouldn't!!!

What you must remember horsfields can climb and they can dig. Not sure about Hermans whether they do this too ??? Both breeds need the same conditions and foods.

The choice is yours

Hi sarah, I know Hadleigh very well we used to live at Holbecks Park when Lady Rowley and Sir Joshua were alive, my hubby was the gardener, my children grew up there and went to the school maybe before you remember as we left in 97. We still come down for the show occassionally and my son now lives at Wickham Market and my daughter at Colchester anyway welcome to the forum you've found the right place for good advice.

Argh! I started off swaying towards the Hermanns as they didn't climb or dig... but would I prefer the cheekiness of the Horsfields climbing and digging, would they be more interesting to watch?! Hmmm...

Next decision is where to buy them from!

Ooh how cool! We were in Wickham Market on Monday, using a cash point before going to an Auction down the road (which was rubbish, but never mind!). We lived in Colchester before coming to Hadleigh! Small world

Hello

Did you get to Stowmarket? I am in Sudbury and I am a complete newbie to Torts so seek a kindred pal for said obsession!
