not a very truthful but effective ploy is to get the paper to run a story saying that without vet treatment he will die { well it would be true if he was ill }
i know someone who used this ploy and her tortoises { 3 sullys } where dumped in a public place the very next day people do not want to keep a found animal if they think its going to cost them huge vets bills |

No...I didn't post that he had been found safe and well, as I was busy pandering to his every need, but he is!!!
My little man came strolling back into the garden. I had some weird advice as to what to do, I did it, and left the gate open for him. Bless my little pebble boy!! He's now getting to know his two new girlfriends, which I've just bought from Tortoise Lady I promised him if he came home, that he could have a girlfriend, so he's got two!!!!! |
