Mine has a 'wet tortoise' smell when she's in the bath. It's nice.

Mine never smell... They are extremely clean animals. They usually poo etc while they are in their bath so their enclosure remains clean.

Oh no, my Pedro's going to get a complex! It's not a pooh smell, honest! she bathes every day and she's very clean!
I always think it's the shell when it gets warm and wet, and it's very faint, but then I do just make smells up sometimes! Edit: I've just realised what it smells like - warm rain! Sort of. |

I was just wondering see if they are smelly animals if kept on a table top in your front room but from the responses obviously not. Do they always go to the toilet in the same place is there enclosure ? |

I have four in one room and they don't smell at all.
Mine all tend to do their toilet duties in the bath but if they do go in their table, they don't tend to stick to just one place.
