Not sure how much more I can take.
My dog, Teddy, has a lump near his rectum. We have just been to the vets and she said he has to have a biopsy to see if it's cancer.
I am so scared, I love my little dog like he's my child. Please let it be nothing.

I hope Teddy is ok. Our Wilf's had a small pea-sized lump to the right of his tail, near his rectum, for four years, and the vet says if it moves or changes in size we'll need to do the same. Jake our oldest dog used to get blocked anal glands all the time, they tend to have have a very distinct smell though and they do often try to lick their anal glands a lot which is a giveaway, a change in diet can take care of it, but I'm sure your vet would have checked for any anal gland problems. Fingers crossed for you both x

Oh no, not little Teddy!
I'm keeping everything crossed it will be something easily treatable Wendy. When does he go in for his biopsy? xx
