You could make one yourself out of an old cornflakes box, a washing up bottle, some old cloth and some glue and sticky backed plastic in the true Blue Peter tradition

Well I could make a bloomin fortune as I went in our local aldi on Saturday and they had loads of them of all different shapes and sizes.

Aye . I don't recall ever having made a Blue Peter DIY thing though, sticky backed plastic was never widely available in our house. The corn flakes box and egg box was easy enough but there was always stuff you would have had to go out and buy, glue, glitter, paint, a diesel powered engine

ha ! beats carrot moulding and knitted parsnips.
Did you know that sticky back plastic at one time was actually cellotape but they weren't allowed to use that name on the show because it was a product placement so they had to call it something else and then the name stuck for other things...like sticky back plastic ! CB
