I've been looking at some of your outdoor enclosures and they look great - I'm sure I could make something more permanent and safe then her current rickety run. Even if I can't get power out to it, could she stay out there during most days in the summer? How warm does it have to be to put her out, and what would happen if for example I had to work late and she stayed out there late into the night and got cold?

your tort would simply dig down or go in its house to sleep, it will do this whether its getting towards evening or it gets cold, and sunny days are obviously the best as the tort gets its heat direct from the sun. This means even if it feels a bit chilly to us on a sunny day the tort will feel warm to touch, a cold or wet day will just make it sleep if it hasn't got somewhere to warm up. The best thing is to watch the forecast as its still a bit early for them to be outside 24/7 without any heating, we are still getting frosts at night but give it a few more weeks and your tort should be fine outside without heating but don't be surprised if you have a job to find it if it turns cold.
