Your favourite Christmas song?
It's just over two weeks now untill the first of December , and I will definitely be switching on the Christmas music , I can't wait!!!! My favourite is " it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" by Michael Buble, I play it over and over again, it drives my family nuts !!! What's your favourite Christmas song?

I like "I want an alien for Christmas"
I really love the traditional carols like "come all ye faithful" and "away in a manger" and the like |

I don't think I could pick a favourite Christmas song though...I like the oldies such as Slade's 'Merry Christmas Everybody' and Wham's 'Last Christmas' and I like the crooner's Christmas songs too - can't beat a bit of Bing Crosby or Rosemary Clooney. I really love Chris Rea's 'Home for Christmas' - it makes me go all gooey inside. We always have the carols playing on Christmas Day and when we eat our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve. My Christmas Eve tradition is to sit down and watch Carols from Kings College on the TV, with a glass of red wine in my hand. The kids have to sit behind me and take turns giving me a head massage in return for their Christmas meal I'd slaved over all day. Good bargain eh? I've banned Christmas music being played until December but the kids listen to it on the TV and have been playing Christmas stuff on the piano. My eldest son has brought people to tears with his piano version of 'The Snowman'.

Although I'm not the least bit religious I do love listening to a nice choir singing carols. It reminds me of when I was a kid in the school choir. I loved singing all the traditional carols and used to do the descant. I still remember how to do it but my voice no longer knows how. I still try and it drives my kids mad. I think it hurts their ears. Next stop X factor.
