I have used National Animal Courier for red foots and AC Reptile Chauffers for a viv. Both are good, first is £15 cheaper-45 rather than 60). The reason why it was so long is because they have a route map throughout the UK, so even if a county is very close to another they may only get to it after about 10 counties. My red foots were in transit for 1 and a half days from Newark to here, but the van was habistat controlled and they were very active and happy. National Animal Courier have torts themselves, so they were well cared for-but are sub-adults

We were told he would not soak the hatchlingas this would over stimulate it . I am sure he does a fine job its just the length of time that is the issue here and nothing else

I have used Steve before with no problems..but I did call him to ask if the Hatchling could be soaked seeing as she would be in transit for quite a while and he said 'no'

I must admit I'd never use a courier but have and would be prepared to drive to deliver, several hours if needed, most new owners are prepared to pay the petrol money and we just make a it a day out. I also like to meet the new owner in person, when my adult Ibera were sold we drove all the way to Blackpool to meet the new owners from Scotland, they were on holiday near there so it saved them an extra drive down to Birmingham. We'd never been there before so had a few hours to look around after the torts had gone.
