Default Sulcata Egg

My friend's sulcata lay some eggs recently. They have a pair of sulcata and mating almost everyday.

Can anyone tell me whether the eggs are fertile or not. The photo was taken after 4 days of laying

I cant even tell whether its chalk up or not

I think they need to be left a little longer before you will be certain if they are fertile or not.
When you shine the light through, you should be able to see pinky/red veins. Its better when the light is shone through on the top.
The only way to really know if they have chalked up (they do look sort of chalky) is seeing the colour from hatching. As they do have a really pink tinge to the egg, then you can see they change to a chalky colour.

You can see a pinkish look to the eggs when being laid:0)
So they might well be fertile, as I could see some chalking. But better in a few more days/week to be sure. And of course to see the veins.
Seeing chalking is not easy, until you really look at eggs when laid, and then in a week or two later, as they really do go like chalk to look at. Practice makes perfect:0)

Try putting the two pictures beside each other, and really look at them, it might help:0)
