lovely musk you got! amazing home he has!

they are great, i had no clue what to expect when he was given to me, but i never dreamed that he would be so entertaining!! haha, i'm think he is a male, which would be good as generally they don't exceed 5 inches, but we will have to wait and see if he ever gets that big, he should be about 80-100g by now, but at last weigh a 2 weeks ago was at 35ish, so ill just keep doing what im doing and im sure he will be ok

Awww! He's gorgeous I was thinking about getting a musk turtle not long ago but I couldn't find any information on how to care for them. I have a 3 foot tank that I got with my little horsfield that is sitting empty If only I could persuade my other half to let me have one xx

well if you do decide to get one.... ill be more than happy to answer any care/setup related questions for you i found it very difficult to find information but i've spoken to so many people now, and encountered a massive learning curve!!

i think i've done everything right, if the environment wasn't good then i wouldn't be seeing such great results in his weight gain, shell growth and personality haha, they are so charismatic and interesting to watch!

Thank you Louise What filter do you use? I already have a tank, uv light and basking bulb. Was going to sell it all but I think I might keep it until after my wedding and see if I can persuade Simon to let me have another shelled friend Joanne xx
