Mine have never touched them, but dont know if they are toxic or not.

Linda same here sorry not sure if they are toxic not great on gaarden flowers but i have pinks growing by my front door they are never touched .
I think i read somewhere that some one was feeding carnations to there tortoises and were advised not to but can't remeber why
