hi

yes i would like to dry my own

but was just looking on ebay ans 1 of the sires mentioned dandelion leaf when ried becomes a strong dirutic used for horses and that dried red clover is toxic

so now i will be worried what to dry and what to leave out

also when the weeds are dried do they stay intact ie still a leaf or do they change to a powder

anybody got a link that would tell me which weeds are safe to dry please or am i worrying too much

will i be ok just relying on searching for growing winter weeds

thanks

Hi linda
Dandelions are a diretic whether dried or or fresh and i wonder why clover flowers are toxic if dried as meadow hay is basically dried clover grass and this is an expensive winter forage for farm stock.
well by winter when weeds are difficult to find you will be by then a first class weed spotter and usually i find weeds unless we have heavy snow are really only difficult to find through december feburary then the new growth starts showing
