Default The Arcadia terrarium polyfilter

Hi every body, as you know we are very keen on Chelonia of all kinds at Arcadia!

We have been working hard on a brand new product for wet reptile environments that simply attracts toxins and locks them in for good. It is a very clever filter media that can be safely cut to any shape or size and either placed in a filtration system or left in free water.

In simple terms we all know prevention is way better than cure!! This media will help stop ammonia and other toxins reaching levels that can cause eye, skin and shell irritation and infection. It will also remove any airborne pesticides that may end up in the water!

I wanted you guys to be the first to know!!,

Here is a link

http://www.arcadia-uk.info/product.p...n=en&sub=&id=4

Should be in all good shops in around 2-3 weeks.

Any questions welcome as usual!

John

Heard about this last week. It sounds interesting and similar I think,to products seen previously in the fish keeping community. I am keen to know how it copes with particulate detritus and does it have a long lasting efficient flow?

The media is very course which allows very good flow. The thing is very effective I don't really understand how it does what it does by put it seems to attract organic material.

30 years of use in the aquatic form shows just how effective it is.

Any chance you will be at the March symposium.

The full rrp for a sheet that will treat 200+L retails at just £14.99. This should last in an average system between 3-6 months. Maybe longer, it depends how mucky your little friends are!

The good thing is if you have a 50l system you would cut into four pieces, you then have four separate treatments, maybe a years worth or more!

So in short £14.99

John,
The programme is posted down on the events page. Booking details will be put up hopefully later today. If you can attend, suggest an early registration as tickets will I suspect get taken up very quickly. Francis Baines is presenting and no doubt, will have lots of nice things to say about your lighting products.
the timing of your new filter media product could hardly be better too!
Maybe, with this in mind Arcadia might like to add their support with a bit of corporate sponsorship?
