Better to be safe than sorry Josh. The old creosote used to dry out and the smell went but it still killed small animals

I get the sachets from the same place as I get the hemp, limestone flour and other horsey stuff. It is around £2 - £3 a sachet and you can mix a bucketful to swill out an enclsure or just a bit to spray smaller areas. One mixed you have to use it though

Good news Billy's owner phoned me just now. she apologised for not being in touch and said that she has been so busy that she had forgotten about him. anyway she is coming to pick him up on tuesday.
