Default Some Golden Greeks

A few baby goldens, they start off a bit dark but get more yellow as they get older as you can see in the picture of a few of my adult group.

Amazing that they turn so pale as they get older as the hatchlings look just like my ordinary iberas. Which area do the Goldens come from?

I got mine from a breeder in Italy and some from Bulgaria so where the originally came from I don't know but they can be found in the following areas.
Syria, Lebanon, Israel or Jordan) or North Africa (Tunisia, Libya or Morocco.

They're lovely Gordon. Love the yellow adults colouring.
Do you still hear from Bev who had some of them from you quite a few years back?

No I don't Emma, I did try messaging her a few times but nothing back so no idea what she is up to.
These are a different group to the ones she had. Even though they were goldens they weren't the yellow ones like I have now.
They have quite a few different colour variations from bright yellow to black.

Amazing how they have such a wide variation of colour. Is that dependent on the area they originate or just genetics?

I think it's from the area they come from but if you look at the different types of spurthigh and Herman's they both have a vary large variety and range compared to other tortoises.
