Bless Bertie. That sounds so sweet. He clearly doesn’t get territorial with it then.
I’ve had it for quite a few years actually, but it still works.

yes it's very nice, I like solar things, there doesn't seem to be that many nice tortoise ornaments for the garden that last either. I went to a show the other week and you would have both loved the knitted tortoise keyrings. Wish I could knit - they were fantastic and sparkly wool too.

I can't knit either. Or crochet. Wendy, who used to be on the forum is a marvellous knitter and crochets gorgeous things from clothes to toys and allsorts.
I prefer to sew and cross-stitch, though haven't done much of either this year yet. I have a few tort things in the garden but not many. Some just look tatty, if you know what I mean. I have a thing for green men and ladies though and have more than a couple of plaques on the walls and fences.

I like the idea of a knitted tort key ring.
I have two knitted torts that dangle on the wall. They are cute. I love anything like that.

So the flowers on the triffid have opened and they're not 'buttercup-like', which all the images I can find of rapeseed seem to have. The flowers are more like hawks-beard, but the leaves don't match that! So....I have no idea what it is!
Time to get rid!

If only it had been a money tree instead of a giant beanstalk!
Looked at that but the leaves are totally different, plus I can’t find an image where it grows a huge stalk like this one. Curiouser and curiouser...

No, Jan. I have quite a bit in the garden but it’s not similar at all unfortunately.
