Bit distracted?

Hope it’s all improving - the wound, the pain, sleeping, etc.

Well been back to hospital today and they have had enough of me and I'm now going back to the doctors for dressing changes.
All bloods good but just waiting on a swab result.
Part of me is relieved but I'm also not happy going back to the docs as I'm sure that's where all the problems started.

Glad the hospital seem satisfied enough to discharge you back to the GP for the dressings to be changed. I suppose you know the procedure well enough now and you’ll just have to be eagle-eyed to ensure whoever does the dressings is doing it the same manner.
Is there an improvement in the wound though, Gordon?
Is it getting smaller and has the smell/colour improved? Hope so. x

It's still 3cm deep which is a lot better than 9 it still smells a bit but not as bad and seems to be not leaking as much.
As for keeping an eye on them when I went to gp on Tuesday I had to go to their other practice and the nurse literally pulled the dressing off in one quick go which made my skin bleed she also took off her gloves after that and never put clean ones on when she dressed it.
So when I got home I had to slowly peel it off and put a small temporary one on and put some cream on my missing skin

So when I see the nurse I normally see I will be having a word or two.
When I told them at the hospital they were so shocked they are going to write a letter to them .

Disgraceful! No wonder you got an infection if that’s how they behave. Plus the pain of the skin being pulled off. It must be pretty thin anyway from having sticky dressings on for so many weeks.
Glad the depth of the wound has improved though. Hopefully you’re heading in the right direction.

Oh no, Gordon!
You must be tearing your hair out. Rest up and get better soon. Hopefully IV antibiotics will get into your system quicker and get shot of this infection. x

You just can't seem to catch a break. I'm thinking about you and sending "get well soon" vibes your way.
