Default spot bulb

I use a exo terra Sun glo bulb for the heat lamp and its just blown and need advice can I use a normal spot bulb from b&q with the same or lower watts

Yeah I think that would be ok in the interim. Maybe have a look at the Arcadia D3 combined bulbs? They provide heat and UVB in one bulb. But if you already have a strip for UVB, you could maybe have a look at some halogen bulbs.? Nice light and warmth and they last for ages.
Something like this range is good. I've used the flood type ones.

I had a bad experience with exo terra bulb and would never get another one, I know this does not help

If you have a separate uv tube then there is no problem with a Tesco/b+q or a bulb from elsewhere as a heat source that's all i use at the end of the day heat is heat

all my tortoises have had B&Q bulbs for the past 7 years ! i only use individual strips and the leopard has a pigtail UVB (i cant remember why) i usually use the exoterra 15w 10% but have just got an arcadia one that lasts 9 months !
