So easy to say 'i wouldn't have left the kids' but anyone here with kids will know that heinsight is always desirable after events like these. Is their any parent here who has not lost sight of their children for a few seconds or longer ??? That is all it takes.

As a police officer i have learnt that people who want something that bad will get it somehow.
Anyone who has ever had a bbq, put out rubbish, done some gardening or even got the washing in while the kids are in bed are guilty of leaving their child unattended for a few minutes or even longer, while their kids have been in bed 'safe and sound'? Kids can be snatched at any time.
This place in Portugal was obviously a target because of the sense of security the parents had 'the nothing will happen here attitude.'
They were obviously lulled into a false sense of security by the resort.

Again, i pray that she'll will have a safe return. Unbelievable to think what the mum and dad and family are going through though.

Is there any update on this missing little girl? I only heard about it the other day while I was on this site, fingers crossed they find her alive and well.

Still no news to date.
Disturbing thing is that allegedly the Portugese police did not set up border stops for cars until 12hrs after they discovered her missing !!!
