Woo hoo. Thats the answer I was hoping for. I'm 80% sure Ed is a girl so fingers crossed they can live together in the future. I'll have to post a pic of him (?) too x

is it no a horsfield? looks a bit like it to me just with the roundness of it. did you say it was an ibera on another thread?
I could be wrong, horsfields only have 4 claws on their front feet, that looks like it could be five Last edited by Alan1; 15-04-2011 at 03:34 PM. |

The only pic's the lady sent are one from the side, the top and this one.
It's definately not a horsfield from the other pic's! Not seen her spur's though. I'll see if the lady can send some better angle's.

It's a T.g.ibera, though looking more like a male to me. But like everyone has said, need a better plastron picture to be sure.

Mmmm I have Horsfields and 1 inparticular has been sexed (in here)male, female, male, because it flashed in the bath, then it was back to female as the bits flashed where lady bits but then alas I was told there was more to expose hidden in the tail so we are now back to a male.
Gud Luc Sue P.S. Not chritising the folk who can sex torts, just showing how difficult it is to sex torts. Last edited by suttysue; 04-05-2011 at 05:43 PM. |

Hi sue. Sorry but this is a tort i've now taken in not giving away (i'm a bit rubbish at explaining). It is definately an ibera and Dan has sexed it as male on another thread with better pic's.
Thanks though Sue. Hope your search goes well
