Default anyone got an ebook?

So my lovely hubby wanted to get one for my birthday but as I do most of my reading in the bath (i have gippy rists and can't hold a book long, hence why he was getting one) so need a waterproof cover. Anyone know where to get one? He's scoured the net and can only find one it the us. Also which is the best ebook? He's thinking the amazon one. But i'll happy to take your experiences into consideration x

Yeah I think we've pretty much decided on the kindle. But can't find a waterproof cover

Am I right in thinking that amazon do loads of free books too? I like a bargain but free is better

I know! I really don't know how I let him out sometimes. I should really know by now not to trust his looking skills! X

Becky, I got a Wifi kindle from my DH for chrimbo along with a pink cover and built in light. It's brilliant. I have trouble holding books due to my fibromyalgia, the kindle is easy to hold and as you don't have to turn real pages, just press a button, you don't have to keep moving it about.

The free books are old classic books like Jane Austen or things like Frankenstein. There are all sorts of books but none that are recent. You can have a look, go on Amazon and look at the drop down menu, you can see Kindle store, search for free books.

Thank you Wendy. I'm very excited about getting one now. I didn't like the idea of reading from a screen but it says it looks just like a page. How true is this? I'd be very disappointed in it if just looked like a computer or phone screen. I love reading and it's my only way I can relax. £106 is a lot to spend on something I won't want to use! X
