Hanging Baskets

Just thought I'd let everyone know in that Wilkos are doing metal hanging baskets for 30p ... I wanted some to have overturned with plants underneath in my outdoor enclosure so that my torts don't eat the plants to there roots but can still graze, (I got this idea from somewhere but can't remember if it was here or another site) ... anyway B&Q's were £4 each so when I went to Wilkos today and they were £1 I thought great!! picked up 4 got to the till to find they scanned at 30p!! ... They also had a fair few other gardening ornaments plants seeds etc in the sales.

if you cover them with moss they can make a good humid hide, just leave a gap so the tort can get underneath and spray the moss regulary, bear in mind though that a humid hide needs to be near a heat source not cold and damp.

Thanks Ash I have been & got me some (6!) + found a nice big solid propagator top that fits perfectly in my hatchlings g-pig cage as a cold frame
