Just found out what mine is. It is OPUNTIA BENTONII will grow to about 2 metres tall

you could lay it on its side and it would grow 2 metres wide instead and only an inch high

Mine are also growing great guns! I have loads and they're all sprouting new pads at some rate! I keep mine in the greenhouse just now; even the increase in temp just over the past day or two has reulted in a further growth spurt.
