Worth noting that the venue in Keston, is very close to Charles Darwin's Downe House, so anyone who hasn't visited this excellent site, might want to consider a morning visit, ahead of the meeting in the afternoon?

I might be able to make that.
Are there drinks involved?

There is plenty of free parking, outside on the road or within walking distance there is a picnic site with free parking. There is a bus from Bromley South Station which leaves at 1pm to get to the meeting in time. There will be tea, coffee, fruit juice and homemade cakes. Tlady seeds, Nutrobal, limestone flour, cuttlefish. There is a small charge to attend but we usually keep this down to below £3 per person. Anyone is welcome, but please PM me to book a place so I know how many to expect so we don't run out of refreshments etc

Just checked, it's closer than I expected, which is cool. Apparently, it'll take about 33mins!! If anybody is looking to get a lift I'll be heading from West Malling towards Sevenoaks way then up and left!! ha ha Read a little wiki article attached to Keston on Google earth and apparently there are some huge ponds to have a look at round there?! And 'many a young boy caught their first perch, trout, etc, there'. Sounds great!! Rods at the ready people!? |
