We all stress about our tortoises even me after over 35yrs of keeping them.
First thing I do when I get home is check on them, even if its only an hour gone:0) Watching them closely will only improve your keeping, and we never know it all. We are all still learning.

So he's now got to cope with adjusting to change and the heat, give him time and try not to worry.
