Hey, perhaps we should make this a sticky so people don't start new threads on weed growing... I think this is beneficial to all, and people are more likely to put their tips in one place?!

What do you think Sarah? Might help you with your care guide?!

I am enjoying hearing about others growing ideas. I planted two seed trays today and will keep you posted with progress and how they grow?!

I planted some about 10 days ago and have yet to see anything grow whatsoever! Don't know if i've done something wrong gardening is not my strong point. Ah well, I've got just over 3 weeks to try again

Also, if anyone who has had success on growing indoors could be wonderful and post a step by step account of what they did, that would be amazingly helpful!

Well, I have tried the 'seeds in the dark' and had them in their for about 5 days. They have come out looking good, but I had similar results without 'dark', so we are yet to see how they will fair.

Though, I have put these in a propergator this time round, hoping that may encourage a bit of stronger growth. And I am watering less than before, only when dries out a bit!!

Will try and take some pics later to post!! But I am not getting my hopes up too much!!

Fingers crossed!!

Sainfion is the fastest germanating weed I've seen but no idea how high it will grow or how long it will take.
I've planted lots of flowers nasturgums, lavetera, hibiscous, forget me not but Ive not had a lot of luck growing weeds so far. My vetch is spindly, chickweed hasn't sprouted.

To be honest I have given up with the whole "planting" and seed trays. I just scatter a handful of mixed seed over the whole tort enclosures. the seem to come up ok. Admittedly only a few grow high because some pesky tort comes along and eats them, but then they have free choice etc and that is what I am growing them for.
