In all fairness... he hasn't said what he did to raise that one tortoise from hatchling to the photo shown. For all we know he could have gotten it yesterday.

I'm so tired of having being questioned for my practices... providing information for those practices and not being given the same courtacy.

I constantly read advice on here where there is no information to substantiate that advice.

No ... ?

Thatll be nice and help him too .

Animals do die , thought everyone knew that.
Cant be my problem that you find it " below the belt" .

I dont know why you are answering me here ?
I dont see where I adressed you ?
I asked another member of the forum if he had an updated picture of an animal .

My comments in the future will be as they allways been.

I answered... yes... it is posted on the forum... somewhere.

The animal is alive but I don't think that was the point... I suspect the person was talking about the post dieing.

Stells was kind enough to offer to try and hunt down the photo/post considering that you and I were too lazy to do so. In my case... I think posting it was enough.

You have no idea... it could have been taken in the humor that it was intended or it could have been taken as an insult... in which case I would have been cyberneticly castrated. Have you ever pissed off a women????? There's a reason you've never read 'hell hath no fury as a man scorned'.

There's a reason i'm still on this forum... women with balls.

no, he hasn't given all the details in one thread, if at all, and yes, he could have got that tort yesterday, but I don't believe for one minute he did, just as if you posted a pic of a tort you claim to have raised, well I would believe you too

Now that may make me naive, but after reading most of yours and Chris' posts over the last few years I actually kind of trust what you say is true, even if sometimes my opinion may differ.

As for you getting constantly questioned, well, isn't that what you want keepers to do? Not just follow someone's advice blindly?

Ed, you have persisted in the methods you believe in, formulated diets and so on, you can see yourself that the tide is slowly turning, nobody said it was going to be easy

The point is that I post what I've learned or have experienced. I take great pride in not falsifying information that I pass along... I am wrong... sometimes... not intentionally.

I... like most people... do not like to be questioned. I like to think I've developed the respect over the years that I can be taken for my word... obviously not... don't have a problem with that... I do expect others to provide the same information that I'm expected to provide.

I have no agenda. I pass along what I'm convinced is good... is it right????... I don't know. It is interesting that trends are going towards the points I've been pushing for umteen years. I'm happy with that.

(thank you)
