I'm not sure my two would sit still long enough for a photograph.
Well done to Abigail for taking such a lovely photo.

My 3 girls are silly tame my daughters have them out every day and they will even lay on their backs and let them rub there tummies one of the things they love most is a rub under the chin.

Now that is cute! Popcorn will tolerate a cuddle but Cookie is a different ballgame altogether. Clipping her nails is definitely a two-person job!

That's a big question Bev. The males will sometimes live together, but in my experience they fight. They can live happily with the ladies but the obvious happens, frequently. Ladies live together very happily. But if you get a rescue pair, of which there are many waiting for a loving home, they are usually de sexed, for want of a better word. Piggies should be kept in groups of 2 or more but when they are lovers and fighters it's hard to accommodate them.

Wendy I love their expressions ! all 4 of them !! I had 2 boys and they got on v well. then one passed away and I ended up with a baby and they got on and then the mistake happened probably cause I didn't have my contacts in and ended up with another boy and two girls - all 3 boys get on fabulously -phew and Dylan is six, Tooey is mad at 2 years old so I thought he wouldn't zolerate a 6 week old. but I do agree the girls seem natural companions.

So the best thing to do is to get 2 juvenile females, or adults will one on its own get lonely, do they need companionship ? X

They do need companionship. When i had 2 boys that fought so had to be separated, I had the cages next to each other and they would chat and rumble to one another. In the wild the males have a group of females and fight any other male that comes along to protect his harem. If you are lucky you could get 2 boys that will live together, it's probably as common to have 2 that do live together as it is to have 2 that fight. If you got rescue piggies you would know they are happy together rather than getting 2 babies and they grow up to fight.
