horrible but think about it would the shop allow someone to stand there and film ? if you search on you tube etc you can find some awfull things but if you want to sleep then don't look as there's nothing you can do. I also can't beleive that the animal was still alive there was no sign of a heart beating and I'd imagine the shock and blood loss would kill it very quickly. Am I also right in thinking this is in the USA not china, I can't beleive that the USA would allow any shop to operate like that, China yes but not the USA.

No that isn't legal over here. It's just hard to police every chinese market, so things like this get by. They are always doing raids on chinese markets in california and finding plenty of illegal products and practices, so they are trying.

That is so horrid!!
I know people disagree with this, but I have no problem with people eating turtles etc (as long as they are not endangered) But I do believe they should be treated with respect while they are still alive and that is just a terrible way to treat a living creature!! |

The biggest problem is the older generations that thinks if it's still alive it's fresh, where if it's dead it's not so good. They just don't get the refridgeration of the modern era being able to keep the meat fresh.
If you can change that way of thinking, this would be much better for the animals. Danny
