Looks ok to me from the pics. Shells a bit bumpy but nothing too bad. It would be best to go and have a look at the tort so you can check it has a dry nose and clear bright eyes. I made the mistake of not checking first when I got Theo and I quickly noticed there was something not right as he was making strange noises and blowing bubbles from his nose!! He ended up costing me a small fortune in vets bills and I had to rehome him with someone who could make him better because he wasn't improving with me. Don't mean to scare you - just don't want anyone to make the same mistake as I did lol xx

Thank you I will go and see him when I pick him up anyway so if anything is wrong I won't be buying. How much do you think a 5 year old is worth?

Will you be keeping him in the viv or moving him into a table? The viv in the picture looks quite small so he will probably need to be moved into something bigger. I would personally make an offer for the tortoise on its own and get something bigger for him to live in xx

Looks lovely to me I only have experience with horsfield stars and red foots but £200 seems a pretty fair price. It's house does not look very big on the pictures but might be ok as a starter home as I have paid that much for just a tortoise before (my 4year old red foot) a good check over when you pick it up will let you know if it's healthy enough. I know if it was me I would get it regardless lol I could not leave it behind.

If it does not have a certificate will that not mean they won't be able to sell it? Could they not gift it to you if you bought the set up for it?
