Default My Nameless Sulcatas Beak,is it too long????

I have a short list of names but havent found one to suit yet
Is his beak too long?

if it was mine I'd try getting it to wear naturally or at least not mess about untill he/she has settled and is at home, its stressfull enough being moved and the beak doesn't look that bad. Maybe when it gets to know you it might let you gently have a go with a nail file or similar.

I've seen worse. Hopefully by introducing more beak wearing foods as well as feeding him off slate should help a bit. Though I don't think it calls for any drastic intervention

Jackie, that beak looks perfectly normal for a Sulcata Tortoise. The pronouced hook at its tip is effectively a scythe for cropping one of its favourite foods: A lawn full of grass. The action of this keeps the wear natural, but judging from the photograph, your yet nameless Sulcata, is showing a healthy looking jaw line currently.

well thats terrible you should be ashamed of yourself :0) fancy not giving him a name. if your stuck for a name i'm sure surgestions would be forth coming on the sight just to get started how about hercules or giganto or arnie or wallace.
