So poor Annabel sounds light too Jackie . I guess there was a lot of competition for food in their previous home. I'm supplementing Wilf's weeds with a few exotic leaf eater pellets, mushrooms, butternut squash, mango, papaya and earthworms. He also has a well planted table so can munch on pansies, campanula etc if he wants to. I can't say for sure that this regime is helping as I haven't weighed him again yet, but I'm hoping that he will have gained a few grams. If you want some pellets let me know and I will send you some. They will be ok for Annabel, Alexandra and the hingeys I think x x x

Aww...I'm sure you'll be able to feed her up, Jackie. No doubt she'll be glad to have plenty of yummy food and TLC with you. Love her name by the way.

Try and get lots of high energy foods as well as high protein contents. So up the protein to maybe once a week, include plenty of mushrooms-decent ones, not just the rubbish common ones we'd get for ourselves lol-, and try and get hold of things like papaya and figs. Both are particularly liked, and papaya is very good for the digestive system. Is she eating any greens? Some find that greens or weeds don't go down well with neglected Yellows. If I was you I'd use a good pellet as well, which will encourage faster growth. Just make sure you have EVERYTHING in the habitat perfect, as otherwise a fast grown tortoise can end up with very nasty deformities. It's upto you, but be aware that fast growth will lead to a very dense shell.

My red foots used to live chicken and mushrooms. I'm sure that you will get her sorted out especially over the summer. Xx
