HERMANNS EGGS AT LAST!...PHEW!...
...Yesterday my Hermanns finally laid her eggs, after weeks of fretting, she laid a large clutch of 9 eggs WOW!!! Whilst laying them, she laid 2 eggs together 3 times!!!...Again another fast clutch, she started digging at 3.45pm, and was all done at 5.30pm (less than 2 hours!)...So that is 2 days on the trot for eggs (which I have seen before) but I have another female who could lay tonight!!! (she abandoned a nest site at 11.00am this morning) probably too hot for her to continue? ...Please enjoy the photos ...T.T. 8)

Great pictures TT ,i had two clutches of hermans eggs laid on wednesday one of 9 eggs the second just two, never thought to take pictures this time was rather busy with other chours.
Well after much thinking i decided not to go through the incubation of them and threw them away i just can't advertise them any more and finding homes without advertising is so difficult only thing is now all 5 ibera are nest digging and so is my horsfield "again "what do i do with all the eggs is the question its so difficult to destroy them ,anyway on a better note TT good luck with your eggs i hope you have a successful hatch Darren |

Well done TT great clutch of eggs you have there.
That's so sad Darren, such a shame you have been forced into making such a decision when you are so good at breeding tortoises. I wish there was something I could do to help. Ade
