Missing tortoise in East Peckham, near Tonbridge, Kent
Details here...
http://www.kentonline.co.uk/tonbridg...tortoise-38557 I am pretty sure this isn't an American Desert Tort. However, he is clearly a much missed pet. The area is surrounded by fields, so unfortunately he could be anywhere.

Looks like an Ibera to me but I wouldn't put money on it.

Here is another link with contact details on :-
STOLEN! Peckham Postby Tortoise Trust » Sun Jun 14, 2015 9:51 am This message from very upset owner. Please pass this around social media and any other forums where it might help. I am writing to see if you can possibly help with trying to find our stolen pet tortoise. Our wonderful family pet tortoise, Timmy, has been stolen from my parents garden in East Peckham, near Paddock Wood in Kent, sometime between the evening of Thursday 11th June and the morning of Friday 12th June 2015. He has been a part of our family for 45 years and is a real character. We are all so upset that he has been taken by someone who may sell him on or not care for him as we do and would love for him to be returned safely to us. Unfortunately he is not chipped but is a large tortoise who measures approximately 20 cm across (from side to side) and 25 cm long (from head to tail). He stands about 15 cm high. Please see photo attached. We would be extremely grateful if you could post this information/photo on your website/newsletters etc to help us find him. Perhaps someone has recently bought a large tortoise in the last couple of days with the same markings and could get in touch. My contact number is: 01904 631649 / 07870 520631 and my email address is jngskn@gmail.com Image |

On the Tortoise Trust website, this tortoise has been found. Possibly dumped after local publicity.

That's good news. I bet the owners are so relieved.
