I google searched this last night, nothing. All I read was that Venables was on an online dating site. You'd think that anyone wanting his blood could simply set a trap.
Until I see this in the news...I'm sceptical. This wouldn't be kept from the public. It's too mainstream. And would still generate big time interest. xx
Yes, I've Google searched it too but only found a few photos and the pieces about what he'd said about Jamie Bulger's mother and the online dating.
Still, it's so strange that there's been no mention in the local news about the stabbing.
It would indeed be big news if it is him and I'm sure the country would celebrate his demise.

My God, I don't care who he killed no one deserves to be murdered!
It would seem he was pretty messed up person, and killing a wee kid is wrong. He served his time for that.
Two wrongs do not make a right! And if true I hope his murderer faces justice like anyone else. Murder is murder whoever the victim and condoning it is just disgraceful and you should be ashamed!

I agree his murderer needs to face justice hence why it's possible that the police would want this kept out of the news until after a trial, to prevent a biased jury. I know they can get a trial organised in under 6 months.
This man was a repeat offender and was sent back to prison for possessing child pornography. If it was him living local to me, I can't say I'd feel sorry he isn't anymore.

Not saying he is/was a good person. But to see people say they hope he was murdered and that the killer should get a pat on the back is just sickening!

But yeah I can understand that you would be happy knowing he is not living near your children!

I'm not saying the perpetrator was a good person either. From what I've heard regarding the situation, it's most likely he also has addiction issues and this is possibly how they met. Again, all hearsay.
However, if this is true and the person who stabbed him went to prison, I don't think he'd get much of a hard time in there from fellow inmates.

At least one person has said something right, well done Merlin, no one what ever they did deserves a revenge killing and if Venable's had been given the death sentence which of you if any would have been prepared to give the injection to a child. This thread is nothing more than a witch hunt and malicious gossip. Can I also add that these were two boys that should have been safe at home under their parents supervision not roaming around the streets, how many parents today don't know what their children are watching on their computers, are allowed to play games aimed at far older people, don't know or even care where their children are at any given time. Babies aren't born bad but somewhere along the way have seen/learned bad behaviour to end up as out of control children or children capable of doing something this awfull, I don't know whether they did but the parents of the two boys should have also stood trial for allowing their children to be that out of control, a bit like the parents of madeliene Macann who went out enjoying themselves and left young children by themselves. sorry for spelling.

I agree that it should be kept out of the media, there would not be a not be a non biased juror in the land!
Who ever did it deserves punishment as anyone would, but I can't help but feel that if it is him, he got his just desserts!

No, no one deserves that, no matter what they have done!
