Sulcata Tortoise 2yrs and Tortoise Table
I am selling my 2 year old sulcata tortoise (George).
George has been well cared for and is fed a variety of weeds, Kale and dry grasses. In addition his food is supplemented with nutrobal everyday and cuttlebone is always available to him. The sale includes a tortoise table and T-Rex UV lamp. The table is complete with rocks , mopani bogwood etc. I am looking for £160.00 for the full setup, and I am open to offers. Steven 07843131943 |

Are you sure george is a male and would you just sell the tortoise with no accessorys?

George is a really good looking tort. You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a good home.

Mick.Ire; To be honest I am not sure if it is a male. I was told youcannot sex them at a young age, I have attached a picture of his plastron.

Yeah, that's why I asked. I think it's nearly impossible to tell at such a young age. It's a fine looking tortoise all the same. Does it's tail taper into a really thin point? I've seen some young males with this trait but not as young as george.

Yes the tail does go narrower at the end but not that much narrower than the rest. Yes I would be willing to sell George without the table. If you email me with an offer I will see what I can do.
I am happy to ask any further questions. |

Looks like a little girl to me. But yes, still very young to know for sure.

Cheers Steven but I think we'll hold off for a more mature sulcata that is definatly male because our two females are quite mature. Our priority "wanted" tortoise at the moment is a mature male leopard so if ya hear about any be sure to let me know. Thanks for the info and pics and I'm sure you'll have no problem finding a good home for such a good looking tortoise.
Chat again...Mick.
